Meet Amelia McNamara

Amelia McNamara has over 16 years of experience in accounting roles across multiple sectors, having worked for small family-run businesses and large multinationals.

In 2022, after her first baby's arrival, she faced the dilemma of continuing her career or sacrificing time with her daughter. Having lost her mother to cancer aged just 12, she knew how important family time was, so she walked away from the security of her job and started her own business so she could live life on her terms.

Originally from London, Amelia lives in Cork with her husband and two daughters. Amelia is a qualified Accounting Technician with a bachelor's degree in accounting, a certified business strategist and Ireland’s first certified Profit First Professional in the accounting world.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and travelling.

Amelia founded Graceful Accounting, a bookkeeping boutique based in Cork but serving clients all over Ireland by utilising the latest online technology and accounting systems.
